Take better garment photos
A clear outline gives Eritta a better view of the garment’s colour, shape and details. Start with one piece and check how Eritta has separated it from its surroundings before trying it on.
Photograph your own clothes
- Pick a plain, contrasting surface. Try a dark shirt on a light sheet or a pale dress on a darker one. Keep other clothes and objects out of the frame.
- Lay the garment flat. Straighten the neckline, sleeves and hem so the whole outline is visible. Close buttons or a zip if you want to preview how the piece looks closed.
- Use even light and shoot straight on. Soft window light helps with dark fabrics. Hold the camera parallel to the garment and leave a little background on every edge.
- Review before saving. In Wardrobe → Add clothes, choose a camera or gallery photo and check the crop. Choose the garment category so the model places it correctly.
Try a shop image or a garment on a person
Open Changing Room from Wardrobe. Take a photo, choose a product image or screenshot, or copy the image on the shop’s page and paste it into the photo field. If your browser copies a link instead of the image, choose a saved image or screenshot from your device.
Start with the shop’s straight-on image of a single garment. If the only useful image shows it on a person, choose one with the piece in full view. For a dress, check that you can see the neckline and hem and that hands, hair or a bag aren’t covering the edges. Eritta can isolate a supported worn top or dress when the outline is clear. If it cannot separate the garment, use another shop angle or a flat photo.
If one image shows both sides of the same garment, use Photo views in the browser. Choose Front and back side by side for a left-right pair or Front and back stacked for a top-bottom pair. If the back print shows up at the front, use Swap front/back. Choose One view if the picture contains only the front.
Check the cutout before fitting
Compare Original photo and Isolated garment in the browser. A useful cutout keeps the complete neckline, shoulders, sleeves and hem, with background removed around them. If it still shows a shop label or a second item, use Adjust crop to exclude it. If the crop cuts off a sleeve or the hem, widen that edge.
For one item on a busy background, try Pick garment from background in the web Changing Room and tap inside the fabric. Tap a solid area rather than a logo or the edge. Check the outline again and use Undo background pick if the earlier result was clearer.
Choose a fitting view
- Studio photo shows one supported short-sleeve top or A-line dress on a fixed studio model. It fits the garment from the photo onto the model, so a clear neckline, sleeves and hem help the preview. A top with a usable rear image can show a Back view. For a dress, Studio shows the front.
- 3D lets you turn the avatar and try the shop piece with items you own. Use it to compare combinations and see different angles.
- My photo shows one supported short-sleeve top or A-line dress from the front on your photo. For a dress, wear a plain A-line dress with a similar neckline and hem and keep the whole dress in frame. The preview follows the shape of the dress you are wearing. More tips for your wearer photo.
Use the preview to compare colours and styles. Check the shop’s size guide and garment details for sizing and fit. Eritta prepares photos and previews on your device. Closing Changing Room discards the shop photo.
